Daily Goal Tracker to Set Daily Goals and Tick Them Off
A daily goal tracker is a simple list of what you want to do today. You add items, and as you finish each one you tick it off. That gives you a clear view of the day and a sense of progress as the list shortens. This tool lets you add and remove goals and mark them complete. It runs in your browser and does not require an account. Many people use a short list of three to five goals so the day stays focused and achievable. You can combine it with a study planner (to block time) and a focus timer (to work in intervals) for a full workflow.
What Does This Tool Do?
This daily goal tracker is a checklist: you type a goal and add it to the list. Each goal has a checkbox. When you complete it, you check the box and it is marked done (and usually shown with a strikethrough). You can remove any goal with one click. The tool shows how many goals are done versus total (e.g. “2 of 5 done”) and a simple progress bar. It does not save your list to a server; everything stays in your browser for the current session. You can use it for study tasks (e.g. “Finish chapter 3”, “Do 10 past questions”), work tasks, or personal habits (e.g. “Exercise 20 minutes”, “Read 30 minutes”).
How to Use It
Step 1: Add your goals for today
Type one goal in the input (e.g. “Complete math homework” or “Review notes for Unit 2”) and press Add or Enter. Repeat for each goal you want to track today.
Step 2: Tick off completed goals
When you finish a goal, click its checkbox. The goal is marked complete and the progress counter updates.
Step 3: Remove goals you no longer need
If a goal is no longer relevant, use the remove control (×) next to it. The list updates and progress is recalculated.
Step 4: Start fresh when you want
The list is for the current session. When you are done for the day or want a new list, refresh the page to clear it, or remove items one by one.
Key Features
- Add unlimited goals with one line each.
- Check off goals when done; see progress (e.g. 2 of 5).
- Progress bar for completed vs total.
- Remove any goal with one click.
- No sign-up; runs in the browser.
Use Cases
Use the tracker to define a small set of daily priorities. For example: “Finish essay draft”, “Complete 20 maths problems”, “Read 30 pages”. Tick each off as you go. You can use it for study (chapters, exercises, revision blocks), for work (emails, reports, meetings prep), or for habits (exercise, reading, practice). Some people write three goals in the morning and aim to complete all three; others add goals through the day as new tasks appear. Combining the tracker with a study planner helps: plan your blocks in the planner and list the concrete outcomes (goals) here, then use a focus timer during the blocks.
